Hi there! About 14 months ago, I joined a startup called Dimply, drawn by the ambition to tackle a significant challenge. The technology the team had built was impressive from the start, and our first clients were already ambitiously creating remarkable digital experiences. The concept behind Dimply was straightforward, yet powerful. However, simplifying concepts often means losing some nuance. In a previous role on Xero's Ecosystem team, we likened our work to a power grid, facilitating the seamless integration of over 1000 SaaS companies with our amazing API catalogue. This integration wasn't just about data flow; it translated into tangible consumer benefits—like jobs being done automatically, forms submitted, receipts filed, and inventory managed. To put it another way: Imagine Xero as a hypothetical power grid and your home as the consumer. Xero didn’t directly make your morning toast, but by building the right infrastructure and choosing the right partners, we supported not just your toast, but also your morning tea and the light to read your newspaper by. Building this grid first required creating demand by solving customer pain points effectively and consistently. We had to translate these pains into features and validate their impact. And that brings me to today, and the new grid on the block! Over the next 10 weeks we’re excited to share with you all that we've been doing, the platform we've built and opportunities this product presents. We’ve developed an end-to-end solution that overcomes numerous challenges in delivering complex, dynamic consumer solutions swiftly and efficiently. Dimply's simple goal is to empower any team to fully leverage their data, using it to craft outstanding digital journeys for customers, quickly and securely. But achieving this simplicity required laying down substantial infrastructure. We believe it’s time to reveal how we've simplified complex processes, enabling the orchestration of real customer journeys with real data in ways that are both meaningful and visually beautiful.
