If you take nothing from this post, take this: The best fighting is done by those in the arena! Last night in Abu Dhabi, Lewis Hamilton had his final race for Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team. The coming to an end of an Era. However, in September 2012 when Mercedes made the announcement that Hamilton would move from McLaren Racing to drive alongside the formidable Nico Rosberg — the World Champion 2016, the critics weren't having it. Here's what the critics said 👇 ❌ "Hamilton isn’t the driver you need." ❌ "A bad decision!" ❌ "No chance of winning now!" Fast forward to today, and Lewis Hamilton is a 7-time world champion tied along side another absolute G.O.A.T, Michael Schumacher! Together, Hamilton and Mercedes-AMG have become the most successful driver-team pairing in Formula 1 history, shattering records and dominating the sport. Which is why it is actually sad to see how they have bungled his departure. Yet, it's insane to see see the success Hamilton has had over the past 12 years. 6 Driver Championships. ( 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020) 8 Consecutive Constructors Championships. ( 2014 to 2021) 84 race wins 78 pole positions 153 podium finishes. What started as a gamble turned into a legacy! Here’s the thing and if you take nothing from this post, take this: The best fighting is done by those in the arena! Those in the stands—critics, doubters, "experts"—have zero skin in the game. They’re watching, You’re building! They know nothing about your specific journey and what you're sacrificing to bring you dream, vision, product, startup or business to life. Yet, the funniest thing is when you push through and achieve success, you turn them into believers. Many of people yesterday and today on social media saying "Thank you Lewis" were probably at some point doubters. So my advice to you is — This your race. Run it your way! It's the only thing you have in your control! Shoutout to Formula 1 for this image. #StartupJourney #KeepBuilding #Portfolio #LewisHamilton #F1

What a Sprint Race in Qatar! 🏎️🔥 The 2024 Qatar Sprint Race was one of those moments in F1 that reminds me why I’m such a passionate fan. It had drama, respect, and the kind of racing that gets your heart pounding. 💪 Charles Leclerc vs. Lewis Hamilton: Watching these two legends battle it out was gripping. But what stuck with me was Lewis’s raw honesty after the race, admitting, “I’m not as fast anymore.” It takes courage to say that, and it’s a testament to why he’s one of the greatest. 🌟 Oscar Piastri vs. George Russell: I was on the edge of my seat! Seeing Oscar take the win and McLaren lock out the top two was nothing short of incredible. Holding off someone as relentless as Russell shows just how much talent and composure Piastri has. McLaren is back in a big way, and it’s exhilarating to witness. 🤯 Sergio Pérez’s Struggles: Honestly, this was tough to watch. Starting from 16th was already bad enough, but being passed by Franco Colapinto, who started from the pit lane? That’s not the Checo we know. It’s heartbreaking to see him struggling so much this season. 👏 Lando Norris’s Team Spirit: And then there’s Lando. Letting Piastri through in the final metres to take the win—it was such a selfless, team-first move. After everything they’ve been through, especially with Piastri returning the favour in Brazil, this was just beautiful to see. My respect for Lando has hit a whole new level. Races like this make me love F1 even more. The Qatar Sprint was more than just fast cars—it was about character, respect, and passion. Bring on the next one! #F1 #QatarGP #MotorsportPassion #LandoNorris #OscarPiastri #McLarenRacing #SergioPerez #CharlesLeclerc #LewisHamilton #Formula1

Did Mclaren sacrifice Lando Norris’s first world championship for Oscar Piastri’s first win ? After the eventful race in Hungary , everyone is asking the same question : What did Mclaren do ? Was it worth sacrificing Lando’s win for Oscar’s ? Lando starts the race from pole which he lost to Oscar and then Mclaren ruining Oscar’s pitstop strategy and doing undercut with Lando to cover Hamilton , but this doesn’t go as planned and Norris takes away the race leadership. Now Mclaren asking him to switch positions with Oscar but as the only person who is competing for world championship Lando says on the radio that this position and win maybe the most important one in a whole season. But his race engineer Will is asking him again and again to slow down and give the position back and he’s proved that he is faster than Oscar , then Will says on the radio : “Lando remember the only way to win the championship is with team’s and Oscar’s help not alone”. On the last lap Lando switches the position with Oscar , some people say it will be decision maker for the world championships , because as summer break is approaching Mclaren will bring updates and so will RedBull.I guess only way to find out if Mclaren did the right thing or not is to wait until season ends . But in a logical way they should have let Norris win the race as he is second in a drivers standings. #f1 #formula1 #mclarenracing #mclaren

Lewis Hamilton's Final Race for Mercedes Ends in Disappointment Lewis Hamilton suffered ill fortune on his final race for Mercedes as Lando Norris claimed the pole position. Hamilton will start his final race for the team 16th on the grid, while Norris led home a McLaren one-two. If there was any need for a moment to sum up Lewis Hamilton's final season for Mercedes, in what is set to be his worst F1 season, it was this gigantic slice of ill fortune in Saturday's qualifying under the night sky in Abu Dhabi. In need of improvement on his final lap in Q1, Hamilton looked pacy until a loose bollard flew under his car floor and stayed there, wedged, for the rest of his lap. Needless to say, it impacted his speed and he qualified third-slowest in his 246th and final qualifying session for Mercedes. He will start 16th on Sunday due to grid penalties. The disappointing qualifying session marks a significant setback for Hamilton, who was expected to finish his final season with Mercedes on a high note. However, the incident with the bollard ultimately cost him a chance at a better starting position for the race. Hamilton's final race for Mercedes ends in disappointment as he starts 16th on the grid. It's a bitter-sweet end to his tenure with the team, but he can take solace in the fact that he will be remembered as one of the greatest drivers in the sport. #sport #sportrace

Formula 1 returns to China for the first time since 2019 for round five of the championship. The last time F1 raced in China: 1. It was the 1000th World Championship Grand Prix! 2. Valtteri Bottas led the championship by 1 point. 3. Kimi Raikkonen had just begun his journey with Alfa Romeo. 4. Max Verstappen had just 5 race wins to his name. (He now has 57). 5. Charles Leclerc had just scored his first F1 podium last time out in Bahrain. 6. Pierre Gasly was driving for Red Bull. 7. Mercedes did a flawless double-stack pitstop. 8. Fernando Alonso was 'retired' from F1. If you didn't know I was F1 mad, you do now! #netsure #financialplanningwithadifference #financialplanning #financialfreedom #financialadvisor #wealthhealthinsurance #personalfinance

Max Verstappen's stunning victory at the Brazilian Grand Prix, where he surged from 17th on the grid to first place, is a testament to his exceptional skill and determination. This remarkable feat, which included setting the fastest lap 17 times and leading the race by nearly 20 seconds, clearly demonstrates that his triumph was no mere stroke of luck. Verstappen's performance not only highlights his capability as a world champion but also silences critics who might downplay his achievements. In contrast, Lando Norris's comments attributing Verstappen's success to luck fail to acknowledge the extraordinary drive and strategic decisions that characterized this race. Norris, who started from pole position but finished sixth, should recognize that Verstappen's ability to navigate through the pack in challenging wet conditions showcases a level of talent and tenacity deserving of respect, rather than dismissive remarks. This victory is not just another win; it's a clear statement that Verstappen is indeed a deserving champion. #MaxVerstappen #RedBull #RedBullRacing #FIA #F1 #Formula1 Formula 1 #BrazilGP #SaoPaulo #Norris #LandoNorris #SportsNews #BrazilianGrandPrix

The Spa-Francorchamps circuit usually marks the final stretch before a well-deserved break in the Formula 1 season. As we approach the Summer break, let's take a look back at 5 key points and moments from this 2024 season. 🏎️📆 - The champion's mastery, but... After a historic season in 2023, Red Bull and Max Verstappen were keen to build on their success. They did just that at the start of the season, with 7 wins from the first 10 meetings. However, even with a comfortable 76-point lead, the Dutch driver has not been as dominant in recent races. This can be explained by the fact that the competition at the front has tightened up, drastically reducing Red Bull's lead in the constructors' championship, not helped by Sergio Perez. - Tightened competition Since Miami, the hierarchy in the performance of the teams has been shaken up. Indeed, we have seen a drastic increase in the on-track performance of the McLaren team, ensuring them of the top spot on the grid. What's more, the changes made by Mercedes also bore fruit, taking second place in the hierarchy. Finally, Ferrari is a little further back, but still close enough to challenge for top spot. Today, 4 teams are battling it out for victories, much to the delight of spectators. - The Princely Triumph 26 May 2024 was a memorable day for Charles Leclerc. After 5 years of disappointment in Monaco, the Ferrari driver finally won his home Grand Prix, finally breaking the curse on home soil and adding his name to the list of winners of the most legendary Grand Prix in the history of Formula 1. - King Lewis 945 is the number of days it took to see Lewis Hamilton back on the top step of the podium. Nothing better than his home ground at Silverstone to put an end to 56 races without a win and break records (again). A mixture of emotions for every fan, the Ferrari driver for 2025 could not thank more his Mercedes team with whom he spent 11 seasons. A victory that will go down in the legend of the British driver. - 7 winners in 13 races After the Hungarian Grand Prix and Oscar Piastri's first victory in F1, the 2024 season now boasts 7 victorious drivers (Vestrappen, Sainz, Norris, Leclerc, Russell, Hamilton, Piastri). A statistic that shows the fierce competition for every victory and a thrilling championship where anything is possible. All that remains to be seen is whether 2024 will equal, or even surpass, the number of winners in a single season, with 8 different winners in 2012. These events point to an exciting season with a renewed competition that will keep fans on the edge of their seats right up to the final denouement.

🏆🏆🏆🏆 4th Formula 1 Title in a Row 🏆🏆🏆🏆 Congrat Max Verstapen congratulations Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology Congrat Christian Horner CBE for such a longevity. This 4th title is definitely the one of Maturity for Max. - After a near-perfect start to the season, the turbulences in the team, the battles for influence and the drop in performance could have had an impact on his driving. But it was precisely at these delicate moments that Max (while his team-mate was literally sinking) kept his team afloat and gave them the confidence to win the title. - Under pressure, the competitors made mistakes, but he didn't, with that masterpiece in Brazil, which put an end to all suspense. - When you stop judging people and focus on the facts, you can't but salute the performance. I salute it doubly in view of what he said after the race about staying with the team. “When there are difficult moments, it's very easy to say goodbye, forget them or ignore them. But I think it's actually much more important to face them and get through them together.” Let's not forget that the vast majority of great champions have something special - resisting under pressure, - Consistency over time - taking good decisions at the right moment - influencing and federate people, - returning a bad situation to their advantage - Overtaking blocking situation People like Schumacher, Prost, Senna, Lauda, Hakinen, Hamilton were Special, so is Max. . I can't wait to see what happens next year, because the upheavals at Red Bull and the associated departures have left their mark, and the competition will be even fiercer. Small piece on Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team and Scuderia Ferrari :-) #formula 1 #performance #Redbull #sport #motivation https://lnkd.in/e_TDcZG4
