Fractional Marketing Executive for Growth, Mid-Sized & Fortune 50 Brands | Strategist to PE Firms & PORTCOs | ex- Hilton Digitas Havas | Financial Services | CPG | Retail | Telco | Media | Hospitality | Travel
Picked up my 22nd client last week! Thrilled to have onboarded my 10th #PortCo from my 4th #PrivateEquity firm. Each client type brings unique challenges and rewards, but my PortCos stand out as particularly fascinating and fulfilling. Why, you ask? Thanks for the insightful question ;-) : 1) **Extreme Clarity on the Objective:** Beginning every engagement with a focus on the next financial event sets the stage for success. Identifying the key metric(s) that marketing can impact and aligning the strategies towards those metrics, leads to a clear plan of action. 2) **Quick Wins:** A fresh perspective can uncover hidden opportunities. By streamlining processes and reallocating resources, significant improvements in efficiency can be achieved swiftly. Recently, reallocating 25% of a media plan yielded immediate positive results against the prioritized metric. Making those changes was easier than you think. See Number One Above. 3) **Fast Decisioning:** With a well-defined objective and the prioritized metric, rapid strategic decisions can be made possible. Quick decision-making on brand, creative, target and more all us to adapt to changing market dynamics. Considerably less time wasted in swirl because of aligned clarity. See Number One Above. 4) **Constant Progress:** Weekly progress meetings ensure continuous momentum towards goals. While setbacks may occur, promptly triaging issues, identifying the key learnings, and taking decisive actions keep the focus on priorities. See Number One Above. In a world where speed and performance are prioritized, these principles of clarity drive success. #MarketingStrategy #ClientEngagement #BusinessSuccess

🌟 Celebrating One Year in Business! 🎉 10 Things I Wish I Knew Before Starting Synaxia Group🌟 A year ago, I embarked on an incredible journey by launching my recruitment agency. It's been a year of learning, growth, and countless lessons. As I reflect on this milestone, I want to share the top 10 things I wish I knew before starting, hoping to provide some guidance for those considering a similar transition. I saw someone in my network doing this and I loved it, so I wanted to put my spin on it. 🔟 things I wish knew a year ago; Number 4️⃣ Customer Service is Key 🔑 Providing exceptional service to both clients and candidates builds trust and loyalty. Your reputation is everything in this business. Early on, I realised that a satisfied client is more important than doing a 'deal' and they are more likely to return and refer others, creating a ripple effect that can significantly expand your business. According to a study by Bain & Company, a 5% increase in customer retention can lead to a profit increase of 25% to 95%. This statistic underscores the value of focusing on exceptional customer service. Going the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction can be the difference between a one-time deal and a long-term partnership. This is why I implemented NPS from Day 1 (currently at +89 😊😊😊)

What Joy Means to Me as a Corporate Girl Looking back on the last few months, I’ve realized that joy in my work comes from the small but significant wins. In sales, especially when you’re just starting out, landing even one customer a day feels like a huge accomplishment. It’s not just about the numbers; it’s about knowing that this customer saw value in what I offered and placed an order. That feeling, of seeing progress and knowing you're on the right path, makes everything seem perfect. I’ve learned that success doesn’t come all at once—it’s a gradual build. The stress of closing deals may pile up over the week, but the joy of securing even one customer makes it all worth it. There’s a special kind of happiness in reaching those daily targets, even if others see them as small. For someone like me, just starting my corporate journey, it’s huge. Of course, it’s not as easy as it sounds. Some days I get small customers with small needs, some take time to decide, and others don’t purchase at all. Meanwhile, I see colleagues with bigger numbers, and it’s easy to notice the gap. But I remind myself that everyone’s journey is different. For me, it’s about consistently putting in the work, staying motivated, and keeping detailed records of every interaction. I know the big numbers will come. Until then, I celebrate the small victories, keep my spark alive, and believe that persistence will lead to bigger achievements in the future. Regards, Anchal Gupta Senior Analyst (KPMG)
