CliftonStrengths’ Post

The start of a new year often brings fresh goals and opportunities to mind. How can you make sure this year’s goals are meaningful and achievable? Strengths-based goals shift the focus away from fixing your weaknesses and toward doing what you do best. To get started on setting goals for 2025, identify the tasks you perform with ease, excellence and enjoyment. Those moments when you’re immersed and engaged in something are clues that you’re using your talents. Now think about how you can incorporate these activities into your goals. What helps me is to keep my goal front and center, think about it and talk about it often. Accountability helps, as does a positive mindset. It's okay to make mistakes, just learn from them and refocus.
