I was trying to find any commentary from you organization on the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Iran's involvement in Yemen, Azerbaijan's ethnic cleansing of the Nagorno Karabah or Sundan's displacement of 7m Darfurians, but no, none. Apparently everything that is done by these petro-terror states falls right under your definition of social justice and human rights. Climate Action network, give me a break...🙄

there is also no climate justice when organizations like CAN are involved in climate solutions (hint: Israel did not invade gaza - Israel is there to release our hostages, which by the way you don't mention in your "oh-so-just call for cease-fire")

Thank you Climate Action Network International + CAN Europe for the courage to take this stand. We hope that more organisations in the CAN network in Europe can further back and support this call. This all aligns with the thinking about #ClimateJustice that ECOLISE are supporting CAN for #TimeForCollectiveAction https://linktr.ee/wemakethefuture.eu

What's climate action got to go with Gaza? If you really want Gaza conflict to stop, then why don't you tell the UN to stop promoting green solutions that require mining minerals from the Congo (littered with conflicts), that supply minerals got parts of renewables and also parts of military hardware dropped on Gaza? If you really want Gaza conflicts to stop, tell BlackRock who ate a major partner of the circular economy and major investor in these net zero solutions to stop funding these green solutions that cause so much pain and suffering whilst filling their profits. Please stop conflating your climate change agenda scam with the conflicts in Gaza. If you really cared for Gaza, why are you not telling the world to pull out of Congo where your green minerals are?

hey CAN leaders- since you made some errors in your statement i would like to offer my help to correct them: There is no climate justice without human rights, including rape, murder and kidnapping elders mothers and babies CAN condemns the invasion of Israel by Hammas terrorists and demands an immediate ceasefire after all the hostages are released and the Hammas terrorists free Gaza from their violent tyranny. CAN insists on an arms embargo and any equipment used to create missiles and underground terror facilities endangering schools and hospitals used by Hammas against innocent civilians in Israel.

It sounds like a nice thing to say out loud, but it’s quite inaccurate. You can definitely have “climate justice” without human rights. Wait till you find out who it was that enacted the world’s first environmental protection laws…
