It is with great pleasure that we today at Aegir Insights announce the investment by the venture funds Seaya and Climentum Capital to propel the future growth journey of Aegir Insights! The investors will provide 8.5mEUR in Series A funding. See below for further information 👇. The investment will help realize the vision of becoming the leading provider of data, software and research for end-to-end decision making for offshore wind, supporting our mission to accelerate the build-out of renewable energy globally. Personally I am thrilled that Scott Urquhart, Rikke Winther Nørgaard and I managed to land such a transformational investment, just 15 months after we did a seed round for a fraction of the amount, received now. The fact that this has been done in a not-so-easy VC market, makes it even more impressive and goes to the team and the product. It's a monumental task to be in funding mode, whilst growing the ARR topline, developing tools and the organization, but the great team at Aegir Insights did exactly that. With the new investment Aegir can now fully focus on growth. I expect no less than fantastic results 😁. No transaction without outstanding support from the super skilled teams at Moalem Weitemeyer lead by Jakob Skafte-Pedersen, and BearingPoint lead by Thomas Bagley and Yonatan Mahari. Both BearingPoint and Moalem Weitemeyer has been on the journey and supporting Aegir Insights since 2022. Stepping down as chairman, I am looking forward to following the journey of Aegir Insights as an investor and sparring partner to Rikke and Scott, but now more on the sideline rather than as part of the everyday of the business. #SeriesA #offshorewindintelligence #climatetech #renewablenergy #growthfinancing #funding - Pablo Pedrejon & Morten Halborg.
