In the latest climate change regulation update, the Security Exchange Commission approves the SEC climate rule 3 to 2 in favor of giving companies a clear standard for reporting and supplying investors with an apples-to-apples comparison of different companies' contributions and exposure to climate risk. Under the rule, businesses will be required to report climate-related; impacts on business, governance, goals, and transition plans. I look forward to learning more in Risilience's upcoming webinar. #sustainableinclusivegrowth #sustainablebusiness #sustainableinvesting #seccompliance #climaterisk #climatechangeawareness

I caught up with the hottest rule in the US: 💼 The SEC’s Climate Disclosure Rule. ➤ Climate Risk = Financial Risk. PERIOD. Thank you Paul Munter and Erik Gerding from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for your overview of regulations S-K and S-X and how disclosing climate related risks, actual and potential, that have a reasonable impact on financial conditions and strategies is required. 🏭 Companies create long term value when they are ahead of the climate risk. 🌿 Investors can now be excited about informing their corporate engagement strategy team. 💬 Corporate engagement teams should shift their engagement strategies by asking now "let me see the implementation" rather then "show me the voluntary disclosures" before. 👊Thank you Mindy Lubber and your sustainability/regulatory teams at Ceres, Inc. for their insights during your awesome "New Era of Transparency: A Briefing on the SEC’s Climate Disclosure Rule" webinar.
