India, as one of the world's largest economy and population, has a significant role to play in this. The concept of individual carbon emissions is gaining traction, highlighting the impact that each person's lifestyle has on the environment. Every action contributes to our carbon footprint, from the electricity we consume to the vehicles we drive. Recognizing this, many in India are now exploring ways to live more sustainably, such as using renewable energy sources, opting for public transport, and reducing waste. Parallel to individual efforts, the concept of a carbon credit score is emerging as a potential game-changer in India's fight against climate change. Similar to a financial credit score, a carbon credit score would measure an individual's or entity's environmental impact, encouraging and rewarding sustainable practices.
