🏥 Creating the perfect practice team 🥼 Before you go about trying to make the perfect practice team, are YOU the perfect practice leader? If yes, ask your current team members if they agree… If they don’t, or you didn’t think you were perfect yourself, go work on yourself first. Now that you have become a better leader, you would want to see your younger self in your new recruits. They don’t have to be perfect just yet, but they must have the drive to become so. This must be a person in whose hands you can entrust the practice. ❓What about the needs of current team members? The perfect leader would know the strengths and weaknesses of all the team and know how to work best with them. 🎯 Does this new recruit fit in well with the dynamic of the team? Do their qualities, both good and not-good align with this carefully curated team plan? On a more personal note, would they get along? Everyone knows the importance of team camaraderie, be it in medicine, the corporate world or sports. What about the needs of the patients? Granted, your new recruit is already knowledgeable and competent at what they do. But do they have the passion and drive? Under the guidance of the practice members and yourself, your new recruit can become more technically skilled, but if they don’t have the passion to provide care for people organically, their performance will peak and then drop. Without drive, talent only runs so far. Hold (voluntary) routine surveys for your patients on their delivered care. A team member must be driven to learn from criticism to improve services for their patients. If they have no passion for people, they won’t learn, and the needs of your patients will not be fulfilled. I'll be posting about our hiring process for our clinical staff next week. 👉 Passion isn’t something you can fake. I am proud that each member of my team has been carefully selected considering the needs of the patients and other practice members. It takes a lot of reflection, both self and external, but it is more than worth it in the end!

Celebrating Collaboration and Commitment: Our Recent Synergy Meeting At Cormica, synergy isn't just a buzzword; it’s the essence of how we operate and succeed together. Recently, our Synergy team, composed of managers from our four laboratories, came together for an enriching and engaging meeting that reflected our values and mission. Our Mission: To improve patients’ lives by providing comprehensive testing services, enabling clients to launch and release their products safely and rapidly across the world. The day began with insightful presentations from our leadership team, including our CEO, CFO, Sales Manager, HR, and other key figures. These sessions not only provided valuable updates and strategic insights but also reinforced our collective commitment to our mission and values. Highlights of the Day: • Presentations from Leadership: Our leaders shared their vision and strategies, aligning our efforts with our mission to deliver accurate and ethical testing services that make a real difference in patients' lives. • Team Building Exercises: Building towers with spaghetti and marshmallows showcased our creativity and problem-solving skills, highlighting the importance of WE WORK TOGETHER. The DISC personality exercise allowed us to understand each other better, fostering stronger collaboration and support. • Networking Sessions: These sessions were crucial for building connections across our labs, promoting WE ARE OUR COMMUNITY by supporting each other's growth and celebrating our collective successes. • Closing Activities: The day ended with a delightful meal, punctuated by a fun and engaging murder mystery theme. This event was a testament to WE HAVE OWNERSHIP, as everyone participated enthusiastically, showcasing our commitment to exceeding expectations in everything we do. Throughout the day, we continually identified opportunities to enhance our services and expertise, embodying our value of WE CONTINUALLY IMPROVE. Each activity and interaction was a step towards doing what is right, with unwavering integrity and dedication. Our Synergy meeting was a powerful reminder of our shared mission and values. Together, we are committed to making a positive impact on patients' lives, supporting our clients, and improving our community.
