Clinique is excited to share our recent partnership with Mamina Turegano, MD, FAAD, triple-board certified dermatologist, holistic medicine internist, and dermatopathologist who consulted on the psychodermatology survey, Skin is the Window to the Mind*.     One of the first comprehensive consumer surveys that analyzes global perceptions of the connection between emotional wellbeing and skincare, the survey found that consumers feel the condition of their skin has a direct correlation to their mood and vice versa.  In fact, it revealed that in terms of things that most help improve mood, applying skincare ranked higher than meditating, receiving a compliment or even having a cup of coffee.     Dr. Turegano shares the survey “shows the importance of not only being hydrated, but the actual act of applying a moisturizer plays a really important role. The way a moisturizer feels, how quickly it absorbs, how it smells—95% of people say that the sensory-related aspects enhance mood. A consistent skincare routine has good results, but also, when you're using a product that you enjoy, in addition to reaping all the skin benefits, it's also providing the emotional benefits.” For more findings from the psychodermatology survey read the exclusive announcement in @Forbes today.   https://lnkd.in/emqa2xcw #Clinique #Psychodermatology #Skincare  *This quantitative survey of 5,012 moisturizer users ages 16-70 was conducted in January 2024.  The survey was commissioned by Clinique, in partnership with by Material, an insights, marketing services and technology company.  The global sample has a margin of error of +/-2% and each country sample has a margin of error of +/-3%.
