✨Celebrating Five Years of Global Collaboration to Address AIDS-Related Mortality✨ In 2023, over 630,000 people tragically lost their lives to AIDS-related illnesses. This serves as a stark reminder of the work still needed to meet global health targets and save lives. Since its inception in 2019, the Advanced HIV Disease (AHD) Alliance – born from Unitaid’s AHD projects with CHAI – has been at the forefront of tackling ongoing challenges in this field. Over the past five years, the AHD Alliance has grown into a powerful network of over 70 members across 29 organizations, extending its reach from Africa to Latin America and Southeast Asia. Together, these partners are coordinating and driving momentum toward the ambitious 2030 goal of ending AIDS.
