As a solo consultant, your biggest asset is your personal brand. It’s often why a prospect will call you to set up a meeting or even select you for the contract. A personal brand combines how you promote yourself and how others see you. It’s a blend of your skills, values, and the qualities that set you apart, including how effectively you solve problems. In short, it's what people say about you when you’re not in the room. Personal brands are strategic and intentional. Email Copywriter | Helping Businesses Increase Sales via Email Marketing & Landing Page Creation | Founder & CEO of ALTERF | Building a Media Startup
Fancy designs? You don't need them as much as you need a good strategy. They’re distracting you from what really drives sales—simple, effective emails. I’ve seen beautifully designed websites fail to convert while simple, clear emails rake in the revenue. Design is great, but if your emails aren’t doing the heavy lifting, you’re leaving money on the table. Lesson for your business: Focus on clear messaging and strong CTAs in your emails. Don’t let shiny designs distract you from what really matters—sales.

The right words on your website will speak and sell for you | Website copywriter for Coaches & Creatives
Even though it's the most important page of your website, I always write the homepage last. See, your homepage is the spotlight of your website, since it’s the first page your prospects land on. It is like a menu for your website, offering a taste into your business, your brand and service offerings. Signage that leads them to where they need to go. It enables your prospects to know about: ↳ The foundation: Your brand ↳ You: the person behind the brand ↳ How you can help: the services you offer ↳ Why they should hire you: how the offerings cater to their pain-points In order to effectively convey all this, a deep understanding of your business and its offerings is necessary. Whenever I start working on a project, I start with a brand strategy workshop - which involves a ton of calls, research and client interviews to familiarize myself with the client's business. ➜ Therefore, rather than rushing into the Homepage, I start with the About page. I craft the brand story. This lays the foundation of how your business should present itself and 'why you'. This sets the tone for all the other pages. After all, the business starts with you. ➜ Next, I move on to the Services page which offers a comprehensive overview of all your service offerings ➜ Following this, I write the Sales page for each offering. Writing this gives me crystal clarity about the value proposition of each offering and a deeper understanding of your target audience's pain-points. This helps me write a homepage that speaks directly to your target audience. ➜ After that, I tackle the remaining sections of the website. Depending on the client, it might be a tiny landing page for their lead magnet/newsletter and contact page. As I'm writing these pages, I am slowly building and connecting threads that shape up my client's business. And finally position it all strategically at the first page the prospect arrives at. That’s why I write the Homepage, the highlight of the website, last. Of course, we can't discount the fact that I'll repeat the entire process again during the multiple drafting and revision stages. Which website page copy would you focus on, and why?
