One Final Push!!! We can do this! Q3 & Q4 has been interestingly busy! I may be the only one that has felt the energy shift. Everything is happening quickly. All the deadlines are now. Now, now, not quite yet, and also now. Meetings, appointments, gifts, emails, people, pets, forgotten items, reschedules, reviews, lions, tigers, reindeer, elves, and an endless supply of peppermint mocha! Take a deep breath, refocus, and give it your best effort. You can only do what you can with what you have. Don't get caught up in the snowball. We all need a break, so lead with grace. Try your best to communicate with grace. Breathe before you respond. #FinalPush #StayFocused #LeadWithGrace

"Salma on the Go" Series … Season 1 Breakfast in the Making - Learning from failure Episode 12 : Dead Plate - What To Do If You Don't Know What To Do? Hey there… Welcome back, busy people, and breakfast enthusiasts! 😊 I'm Salma. Join me, as we move through a journey of fun, stories, and adventures I journaled for years now. It was a sunny summer day in 2007, and we decided to have a picnic with friends at the park. We were all happy starting the day... The morning started great ! 🌝 As we set up our picnic spot, I realized I had prepared the burritos way too early. By the time we were ready to eat, they had turned cold and soggy—a classic "dead plate" situation. I thought, "How can I adjust in this situation ???!!!!" 😮... I spotted a nearby grill and decided to use it. I carefully placed the burritos on the grill, but in my rush, I didn't notice that the grill was actually a bee's nest.🐝 As soon as the grill started heating, the bees swarmed out. Everyone at the picnic began running in all directions, trying to avoid the angry bees. 😬... In the confusion, someone knocked over the picnic table, sending food and drinks flying everywhere !!!.... The bees finally settled down, but the picnic was a disaster. ! 😫 Actions to consider…👌 ↳ Timing is critical. Sometimes, anticipating nothing is better than making a bad move. ↳ There is always a right time for everything. ↳ The truth always feels easy and right. Make it happen or let it happen to you! 😉 Stay tuned… Beautifully Yours, Salma #breakfast #food #series #fun #kitchen #SalmaOnTheGo

Queen of Killing the Status Quo |Trauma-Informed Business Strategist & Life Coach| Reclaim your personal power while making a ton of money| HD Projector| Ring the 🔔
I was watching Nailed It: A Baking Challenge and I love this show! I love the classic Nailed it because it’s hilarious, but this version is actually helping past bakers get better. And these bakers have coaches! The coaches move so quickly and accurately. But there was an episode where the cake coaches were learning how to do chocolate work…and they were struggling! These cake coaches are some of the best in their field but learning chocolate techniques was kicking their butt. They still made a better chocolate piece than the contestants, but it goes to show that even as an expert in your field, having your own coach can show you where your blind spots are and where you still have room for improvement. You are most likely an expert in your field, but you are probably working a ton of hours because you don’t have a coach that can ✅ make sure you’re messaging is resonating with your ideal client ✅ review your offer to make sure it makes sense and is accessible to your audience ✅ help you streamline your process so that you can get your working hours down Don’t overlook having a coach as a quick and effective way to get your work hours down to that 15 hour work week. My Back to School Blitz will help you will 3 of these points and more in just 4 weeks time! Early bird pricing ends Wednesday. Sign up at the link in my profile. Performance Coach | Host of the NextBetter Podcast | Lecturer at Purdue University - Collaborating to Optimize Your Well-Being for Greater Performance and Fulfillment
"I love that no discipline is required." Rather than beating ourselves up for not having the "willpower" to avoid sugars, fats, and heavy carbs, let's take a page out of James Clear's book Atomic Habits, and make it: - Less obvious - More Difficult Gold Level - Take it out of the home. Only have it when you go out, don't buy bulk and bring it home. Silver Level - Buy it as a small treat at home, eat it for that occasion, get rid of the rest. Bronze Level - Move it to the top shelf, around the corner, behind the mixer and the canned food, where you can't see it or reach it easily. Great points here from Simon Sinek and Dan Buettner on how to change our environments to help change our habits. What's a "trick" you've employed to change your environment for healthier options in food, activity, or well-being? #environment #nutrition #bluezones #simonsinek #atomichabits #wellnesscoach #performancecoach
Want to eat less junk food? It’s this simple. 👇🏼 Check out the full episode of A Bit of Optimism with Simon Sinek to learn the keys to longevity and how to create Blue Zones in your own life. (via Simon Sinek)

Hi Folks! Today, I'm sharing a powerful idea to enhance retention in your sessions - the "Barbecue Test"! Imagine this: You've got your participants up, glass of water in hand, and it's barbecue time! The music plays, and when it stops, they switch partners. Now, here's the twist - each person becomes an expert on a specific topic. For instance, Jo Jo might be the guru on soil preparation, and Pat is the moisture maestro for planting. In just 30 seconds, they share their expertise, and then it's onto the next partner. It's like speed dating, but for knowledge! The beauty of it lies in the fun and engagement, all while covertly reinforcing key information. As the music plays on, participants are not only having a blast but also solidifying their recall abilities. If anyone needs a memory boost, their partner becomes a valuable resource, or they can always turn to you for guidance. This method not only adds fun but solidifies recall abilities. Partners can support each other or turn to you for guidance. Spice up your sessions with the Barbecue Test - a playful way to embed retention! PS. We are running a FREE showcase webinar to help 'Make Your PD Soar in 2024" here's the link - https://lnkd.in/eYfGjwP3 #trainingtips, #trainingskills, #brainfriendlytraining, #traininganddevelopment, and #professionaldevelopmentprograms
