However, some owners/operators of Blackmagic Design gear may be concerned about what this means for them. Blackmagic Design is making progress at their own pace in terms of VOIP and Cloud workflows. They are currently implementing SMPTE ST 2110 and already offer SRT support for some products. Blackmagic Cloud is their offering in the cloud for sharing and collaboration with DaVinci Resolve, and the URSA G2 has a new direct streaming engine to certain ATEMs. Only time will tell how deep the BD cloud engine will develop and whether NDI will be part of it. The launch of NAB 2024 is only a few months away, but until then, you can check out the release link from Ross Video.
