Can you rapidly build, launch, and improve an organization using low-code? Absolutely. This is a real story: Gateway Terminals provides container terminals, truck and rail gate, and stevedoring services at the nation’s third busiest container port complex, Georgia Ports Authority (GPA). Their challenge? Gateway Terminals used a legacy ERP system with several disparate applications to collect and manage operational data. Imagine having to manually check data, manage teams, track progress, and orchestrate logistics across one of America’s busiest ports. It was a labor-intensive process. For example, the team needed to manually file AOM reports (damage tracking, container moves, breaks, etc.) via email every 2 hours, totaling up to 10 AOMs. Manually compiling and sending the data was time-consuming and error-prone. We designed, built, and implemented an ERP for Gateway Terminals that automated data collection and workflows for container logistics and workforce management within the harbor. From a single dashboard. That gives their team real-time reports on productivity, volume reporting, operational reporting, vessel activity, etc. They can also manage scheduling directly from the dashboard. The new application saves their team hundreds of hours of manual labor, giving them more time to focus on their customers, with a much lower risk of human error. Now? The client sees us as a trusted partner. We work with them, running two-week sprints that focus on finding and improving inefficiencies across the organization.
