Community building in open source should be its own priority. 🍁 It’s not just a sales pipeline—it’s about building real relationships and fostering shared learning. While some community members might also be potential platform users, it breaks my heart when communities are treated as sources for sales leads. 🍂 Passing contact info from open discussions to sales reps erodes the trust and purpose we’ve all worked so hard to create. I’ve seen this data pulled into CRMs, and the result is often community members being hounded by SDRs and sales reps chasing quotas.
