Director @ Watt People Ltd. We assist manufacturing businesses in the UK and the USA in finding the right Engineering and Technical professionals to join their teams. Let us help you build a stronger workforce.
**PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR Opportunity - Essex UK!!! ** Think about it…. You’re a well-seasoned Production supervisor who no doubt has experience working within the food and drink or manufacturing industry. You know how stressful this job can be if it’s done badly, but you don’t get stressed because you do it so well. Organisation and process is your middle name, and you really thrive in leading and supporting your team to get the best out of them. The only problem is the company you work for don’t see things the way you do. They do things very ‘last minute’ and they are always biting off way more than they can chew, and it’s always you who ends up having to chew it for them. That’s stress! Well, there is a company that do things right. In fact, they’ve been doing it right for over 140 years and they even have a royal seal of approval. Yes of course they are ambitious, just like you and they do bite off big ambitious chunks. The good news is they can support everyone in being able to chew them without the stress. Next year looks even more attractive because this company have just started to fit out their new bigger capacity site. What does that mean for you? Opportunity for growth! If you’ve read this far, you’re probably already clicking apply, however, just to seal the deal, let me list a few more reasons this career move is the one for you: 🎯25 days annual leave (rising to 28 days with length of service) + bank holidays. 🎯1 week company sick pay after successful probationary period, increasing to 3-weeks Company Sick Pay (after 12 months service) 🎯Income protection (after 3 months service), payable at 75% of basic salary, for up to 5 years (subject to approved claim by insurance provider) 🎯Life Assurance (4 x basic annual salary, after 6 months service) 🎯Private Medical Insurance (after 6 months service), with option to self-fund partner/child/children 🎯Enhanced Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme (4% matched contributions) 🎯Opportunities for professional growth 🎯Employee Assistance Program 🎯Employee discounts to high street retailers 🎯Cycle to Work Scheme 🎯Company Events 🎯Christmas Shutdown 🎯Free tea and coffee Send me a message if you think this could be your next great career move!

Professional Growth and Development through Full-Time Work at Chemist Warehouse I'm excited to share how my experience as a full-time Store-man at Chemist Warehouse, in 2022, significantly contributed to my professional and personal development. Straight out of high school and into my gap year, the transition from casual to full-time work marked a significant milestone for me. It taught me the importance of having a consistent schedule and the discipline that comes with it. This experience built my independence and gave me a deeper understanding of the demands and rewards of full-time employment. During my tenure, I handled various responsibilities such as receiving deliveries, cross-referencing invoices to ensure accuracy, pushing out stock, packaging items for dispatch, maintaining stock levels, and stacking shelves. Whilst working on the tills and engaging in point-of-sale merchandising provided me with valuable insights into retail operations and customer service. One of the most insightful aspects of my role was gaining knowledge about health products and healing processes. Through required learning modules for staff, I learned about different types of burns and the appropriate treatments. This enabled me to assist customers more effectively with their health-related concerns. This not only enhanced my product and health knowledge but also improved my ability to connect with and support customers in meaningful ways. Moreover, this experience honed several key skills: 1. Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in inventory management and invoicing. 2. Time Management: Balancing multiple tasks efficiently to maintain smooth operations. 3. Team Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues to achieve common goals. 4. Customer Service: Providing assistance and advice to customers, enhancing their shopping experience. 5. Independence: Developing the ability to manage responsibilities and work autonomously. My time at Chemist Warehouse was instrumental in shaping my professional journey. It equipped me with practical skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage responsibilities effectively. I look forward to leveraging these experiences as I continue to pursue my career in marketing and beyond. Check out my website for more insights into my journey and professional growth through my full-time work experience at Chemist Warehouse: https://lnkd.in/d5Dw6b7a #ProfessionalGrowth #WorkExperience #CustomerService #RetailSkills #CareerDevelopment
