As we grow, I find myself pouring a lot of time and coffee☕ into finding the right people. Why? Because in the world of multifamily offices, we're not just a team; we're a tight-knit family where trust and secret-keeping skills are as important as your Netflix password. Our hiring process includes comprehensive interview rounds, with schedules meticulously arranged to respect everyone's time. We even dial a friendly reminder call on the day of the interview because – we're nice like that. But here's the kicker: some folks decide to play hide and seek on the day of the interview. No call, no show, no fun. This disregard for mutual time and commitments erodes the foundational respect and consideration we hold dear. Disappointing - definitely yes, but it also gives us a weird kind of clarity. To those magical disappearing candidates, we say: "Thank you for the vanishing act". While the immediate cost is the valuable time of our team and myself, the potential long-term impact of incorporating such individuals could be far greater. So, if you're up for joining a crew that values trust, respect, and the occasional inside joke, we're looking for you. Valtrust is more than a job or a workplace; here you're part of something bigger than your to-do list. It is a community built on trust and mutual respect. She is funny, clever, positive, caring....a brilliant human and she was once told (by a well known British retailer) that she wasn't to come back to her role in their Cafe. The reason, talking too much to the customers and more specifically those in their advanced years. The irony, if you can call it that, was those customers would choose the days when she was working to come in to see her as they enjoyed her company so much. Work that one out 🤷♂️ So thanks CoorDown for creating this and thanks for your great work in getting people hired.
