For example, too much information or too many sponsor logos can be unreadable from a moving vehicle. Small or unusual font styles may dilute the message. Here are a few tips for creating a street banner that will convey the message you want: Clear Messaging: Ensure the banner communicates key details such as event name, date, and location in a concise and easily readable manner. Vibrant Colors: Use eye-catching colors that reflect the festival's theme and capture attention. Attractive Visuals: Incorporate engaging visuals that represent the essence of the festival, helping to convey its atmosphere and activities. 🌴 Garden Rhapsody 🌴 – Light Show: Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay | November 2023 |   The clouds rumbled as flashes of lightning lit up the dark, gloomy skies.   Rain trickled down while people's conversations travelled throughout the air as I lay flat on wooden platforms, looking up at numerous towering structures shaped like funnels with slender twigs spread out like crowns.   People’s chatters then quietened when the orchestrated classical music majestically blared throughout, with the Supertrees sparkling masses of vivid lighting.   As the experience played out, the colourful programmed light patterns matched the music’s soundtrack seasons, moods and tempos that seamlessly transitioned throughout the songs.   What captured me in this attraction was how these assorted styles of musical pieces were interpreted into a ballet of digital light forms and formations, from twinkling to flashing, to encourage locals and tourists to connect with nature even during its after-hours. 🎶   By visiting this significant icon, I witnessed the way that art, sound and lighting can be harnessed through digital technology to elicit multi-sensory experiences.   Doing so allowed me to develop ideas for the AI Exhibition project I am a part of this year. 💡   This attraction is free for all, with the music changing every night and full of different spectacular shows of choreographed lighting.   It is an experience I recommend anyone to check out when you're in Singapore! 👀   ---------------------------------------------------- #GardensbytheBay #Lightshow #Supertrees

🎪 Last year I designed 9 festival sitemaps which reached 800K+ festival lovers. Hence the name 'sitemap girl' started popping about. I loved that nickname. Sitemap girl 🦸♀️ It's like I had a superpower. I suppose I did with a lot of festivals selling the MOST amount of tickets since their launch in ONE DAY! It was fantastic to work with events like Dream Valley, Forbidden Forest, Groove Box, Crooked House & more! So why do sitemaps work so well for events? Because they show off: → the vibe of the event → what the stages are like → the production elements like decor → highlight the artists on each stage → what to expect Sitemaps are one of the BEST ways to create hype for established and new events. So far in 2024, I've been commissioned to work on 3 sitemaps, with more in the pipeline. It's going to be another busy year! Ps. Happy Dragon Boat Festival. Our holiday is from June 8th to 10th, we would back on 11th .! The Origin of Dragon Boat Festival. According to legend, Qu Yuan, an ancient Chinese poet and statesman, threw himself into the Miluo River to protest against political corruption. In order to protect Qu Yuan’s body, the locals raced out in boats, beating drums and splashed water with their paddles to scare away fish and evil spirits. Rice stuffed in bamboo sticks were also left in the river so that the fish would leave Qu Yuan’s body alone after they had eaten enough. In ancient Chinese culture, dragons were considered powerful deities associated with water, rain and rivers. The worship of the river dragon often occurred during the summer solstice to ensure favorable weather conditions and abundant harvests. Dragon-shaped boats are used to ward off evil spirits and to protect the waters. Some say that the river dragon would only accept the rice offerings if they were bundled in chinaberry leaves and tied with 5 different colored silk threads. The practice is later developed into the tradition of Zhongzi. Since then, on the fifth day of May (fifth month) in the Chinese lunar calendar every year, the tradition of the Dragon Boat Festival is born. Celebrating Unity and Craftsmanship The Dragon Boat Festival is not just food and races, the core of the whole festival is built on collaboration and resilience to achieve a common goal. With the unity of each rower's strength, they propel themselves forward to the finish line with synchronized rhythms and seamless coordination. Creativity is also a celebrated theme in the Dragon boat festival. The intricately carved dragon boat designs, with the flowing pattern of the boats tells a story of creativity and imagination. It is an enchanting piece of artistry that links between human tradition and the nature that surrounds it, contributing to a sense of cultural identity.

[URR 1 - Technical Happiness] Nightclubs can be defined as places to party, to forget everyday life and share a collective moment through music, dance and a "let go" state of mind. They are also technical spaces equipped with motorized lights, smoke machines, lasers, speakers, LEDs, and screens to enhance the collective experience. I see tons of concerts every year -- big ones and small ones. I'm not sure about you, but I will pay dearly to see an artist or band that is important to me. And I'll skip the rest. Here are my 2 cents on this supposed "trend" about fans not paying up to see shows this summer. * LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. No one wants to see a show in a giant venue with half the seats filled -- and the artists won't want to play to them. Fans want to see artists in the places where we can see (and feel) the music. These giant venues are no fun unless they are packed and everyone in the audience knows every song. The audience is part of the dynamic. The Black Keys are being smart, instead of canceling...they are re-tooling their shows to be in venues where it will be fun for fans (and them). J Lo -- not so much. Rather than reworking her show, she's canceling. Sorry, but experimentation for the win. * FAN SERVICE: The smart artists are playing smaller shows and also double-billing them. Pay attention to this trend. I'm seeing Jane's Addiction and Love & Rockets and they're well paired. Both shows will be awesome and who knows -- maybe they'll all end up on stage together. The chance for the unexpected to happen is part of the magic. Plus, the show is Pier 17 in NYC. It's an outstanding outdoor venue with a view of NYC. Could they have played at a bigger venue? Sure. Would it seem as fun? No way.

So you want to stand out? At an Event? And not get lost in the wash? Here are some tips. Heading into a sunny bank holiday weekend reminds us of these huge Fairground Letter Lights we did for Taste of London Festival. They looked ace. Everyone took selfies in front of them. When it comes to outdoor event signage then here are some tips to stand out from a very crowded crowd; ⚡ FLASH! No, not like that. Animate your lighting and signage. It's VERY easy for us to do, and we can animate your signs however you want. Whether that's simple colour-change right through to looping animation programes that strobe, dim and colour change to your chosen sequence. It's all plug-and-play and super easy for us to do. 🌈 When everyone else zigs, then zag. If the festival theme is Blue then it's easy to think "let's go on-brand with a type of blue colour-scheme". DON'T! Contrast. Go Red. Or Orange, Or Yellow. But Avoid Blue, Purple and even Green. 😎 Go B-I-G! Bigger is most definitely better for Events and Festivals. Large Signage. Lots of fairground lights. Rammed full of neon. Lightboxes stacked on top of one another. 🤔 If you think of anything else you need then just drop a question in the comments!
