What is a user interface (UI) specifications document, and why do web developers need one to effectively build a product? 🤔 When building a website or program, having a UI specifications document readily available ensures that all the essential elements are included and that they operate as intended. This special document makes it easier to develop a website or app because the developer has a clear overview of what the website will look like as an initial mockup or template, helps developers see where errors or problems may pop up, and also gives developers a better idea of how users will interact with the website or app. But exactly what elements need to be in a UI specifications document for it to be actually helpful to developers? Our video below lists our top 10 specifications ⬇ Need UX or UI design support but don't know where to start? Read our blog post and hire an expert on Clutch! #UI #UX #WebDevelopment

🔥 The Doherty Threshold: The Secret to Designing Highly Engaging User Interfaces 🔥 Have you heard of the Doherty Threshold? It's a concept in UI/UX design that suggests that when response time is faster than 400 milliseconds, users feel like they're interacting with a real-time system. But when response time is slower than 400 milliseconds, users lose focus and engagement. Here are 5 key takeaways to help you optimize your website or app for the Doherty Threshold: 1️⃣ Use visual cues to indicate that the system is processing user input, such as a spinner or progress bar. 2️⃣ Use a content delivery network (CDN) to improve load times for images and other assets. 3️⃣ Minimize the number of HTTP requests by using CSS sprites and other optimization techniques. 4️⃣ Optimize your server-side code to reduce response time. 5️⃣ Conduct user testing to measure response time and identify areas for improvement. 👉 Keep these tips in mind to ensure your website or the app stays engaging and responsive and your users stay focused and happy! #lawsofux #designagency #ui #ux #inverse #uiuxdesign #webdesign

What is it and why is it important? As a web developer, I have always been fascinated by the world of UI/UX design. But what exactly is UI/UX design, and why is it so important? Well, UI stands for User Interface, and UX stands for User Experience. In simple terms, UI/UX design is the process of creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall experience for users. UI/UX design is crucial because it directly impacts how users interact with a website or app. A well-designed interface can make a user feel at ease, while a poorly designed one can lead to frustration and confusion. By focusing on UI/UX design, businesses can create products that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also intuitive and easy to use. #uiux #failureTalks #edulife

Exploring the world of Development 💠 Die-hard UI/UX fan 💠 One pixel at a time 💠 Designing experiences 💠 Sharing insights and learnings 💠 CS Student
Today is a short information day 🤩 Short info: #017 A/B Testing🤔 Brief Information: A/B testing, also referred to as split testing, is a technique commonly used in UI/UX design. It involves comparing two versions of a webpage or app interface to determine which one performs better in terms of user engagement, conversion rates, or other key metrics. This method helps designers and developers to optimize their designs and improve the overall user experience. Here are a few ways to incorporate empathy into UI/UX design: 1. Identify the object 2. Create variation 3. Randomly assign user 4. Measure performance 5. Statistical analysis 6. Implement the winning variations 7. Iterate and test again That's it for today :) I hope you'll enjoy reading. Please leave a comment if you find it interesting :) Don't miss out on any updates, hit that follow button now!
