My takeaway is that Influit Energy has developed a rechargeable electrolyte (or "electric gas") such that you drive your EV into an "electric gas" station, empty your used electrolyte, refill with new electrolyte, and then drive off in roughly the same amount of time that it takes for a conventional fill-up. #chicagostartups #electricvehicles #hardwiredthedocumentary

Some moments become engrained in my soul. Like the time when we took up all three parking spots at our first office. The same one when we needed a 5th plumbing truck, and a 3rd vac truck. The same one when we invested in lining equipment, and got a big PO the next week. This feeling is addictive, and it is one that I continue to chase daily. It is the feeling when a dream becomes a reality, when a vision becomes a real picture. It’s a feeling that I wouldn’t trade for anything, because just like a young boy who has dreams of becoming something, I get to relive this feeling every once in a while. The front parking lot is full, the back also. As of next week we will start parking on the grass. This is the evolution of GreenTeam | Building Services, and the experience of all the feelings, is the reward for all the fighting it takes to get here. This is the award, nothing fancy, just the re-assurance that we’re on to something big. 70+ employees this week, and growing daily. Train is rolling, we’re gonna cover Florida in Green. The big question is, who is coming with us???

Last week I was loading trucks next to this field. We had 8 trucks running as hard as we could to beat the rain. I stopped for a few minutes and realized where I was. What had changed… How lucky I was to get this far. So many times I wandered to quit. Then I realized how glad I was I didn’t. As I sat next to this field I remembered that night. Long, real long we watched the sun come up the next morning. I remember going to bed tired and drained but we did it. We beat the rain. This picture shows that you don’t need everything to start a business. You can start with nothing. In fact this isn’t what I started with. I don’t have pics of us hand stacking bales into pickup trucks. I never took any. I assume because when I started never thought it would be anything. You have a plan, you don’t know where you’re going but you will end up there. If you don’t quit. From a Truck with bent fenders, miss matched paint and a borrowed hay squeeze. To a bunch of trucks running around getting it done. From one load at a time to 8. I remember this night from years ago vividly. I dreamed of my own hay squeeze but back then I had to borrow one. I never imagined I could own one. Sharon Jones Schrenk called me the next morning. Are you bringing our hay squeeze back? We need to go hauling… Me and the guys were up all night. Trying to beat the rain. All we knew was hard work. If you show up everyday, be honest with yourself and the people you’re doing business with in 20 years you will look back and be glad you did. I only knew one thing I didn’t have a lot but I wanted a lot. I wasn’t going to settle for average. Don’t listen to the haters that tell you don’t do it. They just don’t have the courage to do it o their own. 👊🏻 #trucking #farming #tenfourcoaching
