Greetings, Everyone. In the heart of a newly independent India, the spirit of self-determination was born, nurturing a vision of sovereignty and progress. As the nation broke free from the shackles of colonial rule, it embarked on a quest to forge its own path, driven by dreams of self-reliance and development. A series of bold steps marked the journey from traditional to digital, each embedded in the vision of a digitally independent India. This digital revolution aimed to transcend geographical barriers and bring about a profound shift in how businesses and individuals interacted with technology, where global tech giants such as Infosys, Wipro, and Tata Consultancy Services made significant contributions. Today, India stands at the cusp of a new era, where the legacy of its independence continues to inspire its digital evolution. The spirit of self-reliance that once liberated a nation now fuels its drive towards digital sovereignty. This journey, where freedom and technology converge, is a source of inspiration, creating boundless possibilities in the sector. To not overlook, nasscom has also played a prominent role in shaping the IT sector, driving growth and innovation through its strategic initiatives, industry advocacy, and support for technological advancement. Sumcircle proudly embraces the essence of digital independence and consistently advances the IT sector and businesses toward greater digital freedom. #IndependenceDay #Freedom #Patriotism #Unity #NationalPride #Tech #Technology #Innovation

As we celebrate India’s 78th Independence Day, it’s a moment to not just look back on our journey while thanking and saluting to all the leaders of the nation, soldiers who are ready to sacrifice their lives for our safety, doctors, nurses, farmers, entrepreneurs, business owners etc but to also think about where we’re headed. While there’s so much to be proud of, there are also some real challenges we need to face head-on—like unemployment, skill gaps, diversity & inclusion, and mental health. These aren’t just corporate issues; they’re national ones. So, how can HR step up and make a difference? 1. Closing the Skill Gap: We can bridge the gap between what’s taught in schools and what’s needed in the workplace. By teaming up with educational institutions and creating impactful training programs, HR can ensure our workforce is future-ready. Question to ask is how many of us are equipped to bridge this gap. 2. Championing Diversity & Inclusion: Let’s be real—our workplaces should reflect the diversity of our country. HR can drive this by promoting inclusive hiring practices and creating spaces where everyone feels valued. When everyone is included, innovation thrives. 3. Prioritizing Mental Health: Mental health matters more than ever. HR can lead the way by making sure support systems are in place, so employees can bring their best selves to work—not just physically, but mentally too. 4. Creating Sustainable Jobs: It’s not just about finding jobs, but about creating meaningful careers. HR can help by advocating for fair practices, supporting startups, and encouraging entrepreneurship—paving the way for sustainable employment. 5. Fostering a Culture of Learning: The world is changing fast, and continuous learning is the key to staying ahead. HR can cultivate a culture where upskilling and reskilling are part of everyday life, making sure our teams are always growing. This Independence Day, let’s take a step forward and use the power of HR to tackle these challenges. Together, we can build a stronger, more inclusive, and thriving India. We HR Team Dorothy Domingo ,Niharika S at MSH wishing you all a Happy Independence Day #IndependenceDay2024 #HRforChange #SkillDevelopment #InclusionMatters #MentalWellbeing #ContinuousLearning #humanresource #hR #humanresourcemanagement

If anyone asked me what the best rollercoaster ride I've been on was, it would undoubtedly be the story of being a finalist at Smart India Hackathon 2023! From initially doubting our chances to emerging as finalists and travelling to Kolkata for the Grand Finale at Techno Main - Salt Lake, Kolkata, the experience was nothing short of exhilarating. Our team was selected among the top 6 teams from 352 entries under our problem statement! 🎉 Our team created a website under the problem statement (PS ID 1283) by the Ministry of Law and Justice to provide a user-friendly and easily accessible platform for legal awareness. The website includes a digital assistant that offers legal information and guidance to people in a user-friendly manner. Through the platform, people can get answers to their common legal queries easily, while also providing an interface to connect with lawyers for in-depth knowledge. Many citizens in India are unaware of their legal rights and often do not know how to seek redressal in case of legal violations. Our website's comprehensive Know-Your-Rights framework can help citizens become better informed about their legal rights and help them navigate the legal system to seek redressal. The website and digital assistant support multiple languages, making it more accessible for marginalized communities. The digital assistant also has text-to-speech and speech-to-text features to make it easier for everyone. No wonder there were a lot of bumps along the way with such a big project to develop. We surely couldn't have faced these challenges without Saad Surve, Yusuf Sodawala, Ankit Mishra, Jayraj Menon, and Vyoum Khare, being a talented and supportive team through it all. Balancing work and fun, we navigated through obstacles, emerging stronger and more resilient. We would also like to express our gratitude to our mentors Dr. Nataasha Nitin Raul and Kailas Devadkar for guiding us through the ideation phase, College SPOC Renuka Pawar, and our college Bhartiya Vidya Bhavans Sardar Patel Institute of Technology Munshi Nagar Andheri Mumbai for their unwavering support. As I reflect on this incredible experience, I'm reminded that true success stems from collaboration, perseverance, and a shared vision for positive change. Here's to embracing challenges and turning them into opportunities for growth. #smartindiahackathon2023 #sih2023 #legalawareness #teamwork #innovation

"The true measure of any Society can be found in how it treats its most vulnerable members" - Mahatma Gandhi 🙏 Imagine what would he say today when ... The poorest in our country, pays the highest interest rate - Ironical, right ? Isn’t it further Ironical that while today we love to talk about work-life balance & emphatically debate about 50-hour work weeks, the person who works a min of 100 hours a week, months together, cannot see past survival, let alone think about growth. The reality is that in our world today, the Poor workforce gets no recognition - infact forget recognition, most are not even noticed - just clubbed in as ‘labour’. Being financially excluded, they get access to low amounts of capital at exorbitant rates, while the Rich get access to exorbitant amounts of capital at relatively much lower interest. But - How will we progress as a nation if we cannot uplift the majority of our working population, who is relentlessly struggling through life everyday with expenses exceeding income, low quality education, little or no formal skilling, limited access to better jobs or growth opportunities and no financial inclusion - or are they destined to stay where they are and have been for generations ? How are we ever going to transform our country, without transforming the largest segment of it’s population - they are all part of India, our Bharat & we cannot go anywhere without them. So how do we change & make their lives count ? How do we create an equitable nation where there is no “Opportunity-Inequality” and everyone gets a chance to progress. The answer lies in Technology, which instantly democratises opportunity and the answer likes in Vision & Intent ! At Saathi we are working hard to build what will profitably solve India's endemic problem in totality and in doing so we will build the world's largest digital impact ecosystem. We are proud of aiming to build the greatest company of our times, solving one of the largest problems our nation faces today - we are proud and committed to empowering, uplifting and transforming our workforce and building a 'future-ready India'.🇮🇳 #AbHongeKamyaab #Saathi #StartUpIndia
