⬛𝗕𝗢𝗚𝗜𝗙𝗟𝗘𝗫 𝗕𝗙𝗧𝟭𝟬⬛ ▶️ We're delighted to share one of our latest achievement at CMD Gears : floating and self-aligning twin pinions split torque BOGIFLEX BFT10 with worm gears at primary and input gearboxes. This BOGIFLEX BFT10 drive is specifically dedicated to drive a 300 tons liquid metal torpedo ladle car in steel industry. ✅The Bogiflex concept, invented by CMD more than 60 years ago, remains up to date thanks to continuous technical development. In this case the BOGIFLEX BFT10 is used for a heavy loaded machine for which the torque is very high, and the rotation speed is very low. This requires a very high ratio achieved with a reduced number of gears stages, and it brings an efficient solution in a very small area and constrained environment. The main wheel does not need any bearing so that compactness is very efficient and maintenance requirement is very light.
