One of the challenges with wireless networks is that anyone can listen in on everything that is happening, and with the right equipment, even if you are not part of the network, you can connect and listen. To overcome these drawbacks, we encrypt the data. The way we do this is that even if you are eavesdropping on what is happening, you have no idea what is inside that information because every bit and byte is encrypted, so you cannot understand what is happening.
