I am a mental health advocate and a bilateral amputee as a result of a suicide attempt. I am extremely passionate about improving the treatment of mental health, providing hope for others and ending associated stigma.
To end the week off, I want to put these words here - A little mental health reminder. I truly feel like this is such an important message. No matter how a mental health condition presents itself, it’s there and it’s real. We should never judge or treat people differently because of the different ways their mental health struggles present or how people function.
