Combine robotic 3D printing and milling Our marketing team is out today which means that I get to handle our marketing and communication strategy... Today, ADAXIS is launching the beta for our new machining capabilities, including a bunch of new strategies and optimizations. Pocketing, contouring, automatic collision avoidance, and more. #additivemanufacturing #robotics
Emil Johansson, more voice-overs please! 😅
Great progress !
Is it possible (geometry and order volume permitting) to start with a rough blank, print the necessary features and then make a finishing mill pass? That could potentially eliminate unnecessary printing. in other words, only printing upon the blank what couldnt be made into bar stock for example. That way you dont have to print infill. I can already tell that would be a bit cumbersome given the tolerances of bar stock, but could be addressed with a skimming pass and some part holding wizardry since you're going to be milling anyway.
Probably a wGAN
3wThis is the future. The combination of additive, and subtractive manufacturing is going to be a game changer.
