𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: Bidirectional charging is another exciting development in EV technology. It allows your electric car to not only draw power from the grid but also supply power back to it. This could help balance energy demand and support the grid during peak times. Bidirectional charging, also known as vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology, enables EVs to act as mobile energy storage units. During times of high energy demand, your car can supply power back to the grid, helping to stabilise it. This not only benefits the grid but could also provide financial incentives for EV owners who participate in such schemes. Will our power #Grid be able to handle the increase in electric vehicle adoption? This is the question that #Utilities keep coming back to. Prior to the influx of EVs, if utilities had a rise in #Energy consumption, they would simply expand their distribution infrastructure. #EV charging is too complex for that solution. To tackle the rise of electric vehicle adoption, utilities can leverage distributed intelligence. A benefit of distributed intelligence is that it provides utilities with real-time insights into their customers EV charging patterns. 📲 More below: https://bit.ly/3W7m13v
