What makes a good coaching session? Ultimately, it is up to the client to decide if their coaching session was good. To me, a good coaching session is when the client leaves the session with numerous 'light bulbs' - moments of insight where they gain a new understanding of themselves, achieve clarity on the challenges they face, and feel empowered and motivated to take action. Not all coaching sessions are the same, and not every session may have these enlightening aspects.

Systemic Solution Focused Coaching - creating the valuable mental frame, where the Leader can discover their full potential, where it is not about telling them what to do and what is right, but via questions and mind tools empower them to get to their best solutions and behaviours.

Invest time in building strong, trusting relationships with your clients, as well as with other coaching professionals. Listen actively, show empathy, and create a safe space for open dialogue to foster a deep connection built on mutual respect and understanding. 3rd Generation Coaching An unexpected dialogue with a peer sparked my exploration into 3rd Generation Coaching. This led to a breakthrough in addressing my lurking imposter syndrome and an inner tug-of-war towards the relational aspects of coaching.
