There are only two metros that entered 2024 with more occupied office space than before the pandemic: 1. West Palm Beach 2. Las Vegas WPB is averaging sub-10% vacancy across all submarkets. This has led to an average rent growth of 2.6% over the last 12 months and 22.4% over the past 3 years. The South Florida market is dynamic, fast-paced, and volatile for tenants. McCann Commercial helps occupiers: • Identify opportunities for new office space • Ensure favorable terms upon renewing in existing space • Securing space for start-up firms • Need to expand, contract, or reconfigure existing space Great research from Sajan Blum who just kicked off his summer internship with the McCann team up in Philly!

Our The City University of New York summer intern Balsamine Chen has some advice for anyone looking to make a positive impact in our natural areas: "First, go outside and hug a tree! Not only will it make you feel better, but it will also more clearly establish the connection between us and the physical world. Second, I think that simple actions can make a lot of difference if they create even the smallest impact on ourselves or our environment." As I wrap up this year's journey as the Director of Logistics for the McGill University P[h]assion club, I can't help but reminisce on the exhilarating experience of being part of our leadership team and helping to orchestrate our annual fashion show. From concept to execution, every detail played a pivotal role in bringing our vision to life. Here's some of the exciting details: Coordinating Lighting: Ensuring the perfect ambiance was crucial. Collaborating with lighting technicians, we meticulously designed the stage to accentuate each strut and showcase every intricate detail of our designers' creations. Music Editing: Crafting the soundtrack was more than just selecting tracks; it was about curating an immersive experience. I carefully chose upbeat rhythms to synchronize with the models' movements while accentuating what each designer had skillfully crafted, amplifying the audience's excitement. Communication with the Venue: Seamless communication was the cornerstone of our success. Building a solid rapport with the venue manager allowed us to address any logistical challenges swiftly, ensuring smooth operations from setup to teardown. Contract Negotiations: Navigating contracts behind the scenes was a new and valuable experience. From securing our hype event venue prior to the show to finalizing vendor agreements, adept negotiation skills were paramount in maximizing resources while staying within budget constraints. Coordinating Pop-Up Vendors: In addition to managing the show's logistics, I also coordinated a handful of the pop-up vendors who attended, ensuring their setup and presence complemented the overall experience for our attendees. Reflecting on these experiences, I'm immensely grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our fashion show. The invaluable lessons learned—from problem-solving under pressure, hypervigilance on details, and fostering effective collaboration—have undoubtedly shaped my professional journey. As I wrap up my 3rd year at McGill, I carry with me the invaluable lessons learned and cherished memories from this chapter, and I look forward to the opportunity of playing a crucial role in the club again next year, my final year. In the interim, if anyone has an internship available this summer and would find skills like attention to detail, working under pressure, coordinating multiple tasks and deadlines, and being highly organized useful, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. Here's to embracing new challenges and making an impact wherever the journey takes me! #eventmanagement #internship #fashion #leadership #logistics

So happy to have been able to coordinate this experience for our Cohort 3 interns! It’s such an integral element of professional growth in an organization, to be able to experience and to understand the processes and runnings of every single department and section of the business. Only then can one make informed decisions. #professionalgrowth #HR #MassyStoresTrinidad #MSTT

As announced last week, we had the opportunity to interview our new trainees personally and gain valuable insights into their aspirations, expectations, and ambitions for their apprenticeship at DELIUS. Furthermore, we conducted a series of brief interviews, which we are excited to share. We continue with Enni Czerlinski, who is currently undergoing apprenticeship training to become an industrial clerk. Thank you very much for the interview. Nice to have you here! What do you really want to learn, and which department are you looking forward to the most? I would really like to get an overview of the structure of the company. To understand which departments there are and what they are responsible for in detail. In the course of time, I hope to better understand how the various departments interlock in a meaningful and operational way so that the company functions and grows as an overall organism. For this reason, I am currently unreservedly curious about all departments. I am particularly looking forward to learning how ideas for new products are developed and implemented, how strategic purchasing is done and how creativity and innovation can be reconciled with economic thinking. Apart from that, it would be a great personal triumph for me if I could soon make it along the narrow Jöllenbeck streets to the individual company locations without Google Maps and bated breath. Where do you see yourself after training? Where exactly my interests will lie after the two and a half years of training is not so easy for me to predict. Of course, I hope to do so well that strengths and skills emerge during the apprenticeship that I can use to support the company in the future. I like both the clarity of processes and the opportunity to be creative, and I am convinced that DELIUS offers a great working environment in this respect. Furthermore, I can well imagine continuing my education while working. #delius #deliustextiles #apprenticeship #contractfabrics #inspiration #nature #interiorinspiration #curtains #fabric #fabricdesign #textile #textiledesign #architect #hospitality #homestaging #interiorlovers #colour #lightfastness #home #decor #interiors #interiordecor #natural #matt #interiordecorating #hotelinterior #sustainability #recycling
