Coastal Discovery Museum’s Post

Fall has come, with its crispy air and fallen leaves, at least here in Milan, and I’m already missing summer 🍁 That’s why right now some summer inspired art is what I really need, and I can’t stop thinking about this figs illustration. It’s part of the collection I created for my cousin Mara wedding, now available for licensing ✏️ Believe it or not, the first day of fall was actually Mara’s wedding day last week. None of us could have possibly thought that, so we were really freezing - the ceremony was mostly outdoor and it rained for a very long time. Although everything went well in the end, I was a little sad because I couldn’t explore the garden of the location like I wished. I can’t stand cold and I lasted something like 10 minutes out there… but I came back with a big smile on my face and carrying a big bunch of brown, yellow and red leaves to use as references for my illustrations. Just let me in a garden and you’ll make me happy, even if in the end I could find mud and rain on my fancy outfit… exactly what happened last week!
