The future of healthcare lies in the hands of those who dare to dream and innovate. These students are not just learning to change lives; they are preparing to revolutionize an entire industry.
President & COO at Bedrock Healthcare At Home, Host of The Healthcare Disruptors | BedrockWay Podcast
Yesterday, we had the incredible opportunity to join second-year graduate students at Monmouth University as the professional "sharks" in a Shark Tank-style exchange. Alongside my colleague Brittany Bruns, we listened to these talented students pitch their clinical programs, hoping to secure funding. The passion, creativity and innovation they displayed were truly remarkable. It was a tough decision to opt out of any of their business proposals as they all demonstrated such promising potential. These future leaders are well on their way to making a significant impact in the healthcare industry. #WeAreBEDROCK #ANewEra #MonmouthUniversity #SharkTank #Innovation #FutureLeaders #Healthcare #ClinicalPrograms #Inspiration #ProfessionalGrowth #BedrockHealthcareAtHome Denise Crowley OTD, OTR/L, BCG,PNAP,CAPS Bedrock Healthcare At Home

⛰️“When I go hiking, I leave no trace. You don't leave anything behind, you don't leave any footprint, or any impact on the environment." 👩⚕️ Meiling Zhou, a nurse consultant at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, and a recent recipient of The University of Melbourne's Wattle Fellowship, says her passion for hiking has led her to co-designing waste solutions in the nursing simulation lab. 💬 “We know that students, particularly healthcare students, are becoming more aware of climate change, planetary health and sustainability, and they want to have sustainability in healthcare as a part of their curriculum. But currently there are no real recommendations about the best way to approach this." ♻️ "Firstly, we're hoping to develop a prototype of how to make our simulation labs more sustainable. The large amount of waste is often created in these simulated environments, so we’re trying to reduce this using a co-design process.” Read more about Meiling's story 👉 https://unimelb.me/3QAZmct 🎟️ Join us for a special healthcare sustainability event on Tuesday 14 May, First do no harm: Is sustainable healthcare the prescription for the future? 👉 https://unimelb.me/3ydgpep

12-Step Fellowship Texts and Their Interpretation Today: Wendy Dossett Wendy states the key message that she wants to get more widely known, including in professional and clinical circles, is the ‘diversity and creativity of people who engage with that concept and how they interpret it.’ These people are not just sitting back and accepting a 1930s concept—they are engaging with it, but bringing their own experience and interpretation to it. https://lnkd.in/gajwGSHY
