🚀𝑾𝒓𝒂𝒑 𝑼𝒑 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑼𝑪 𝑩𝒆𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒚 𝑪𝒐𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑾𝒆𝒃𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒓!🚀 Today, I had the privilege of attending an insightful webinar on the 𝐔𝐂 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, hosted by iCodeGuru. It was an amazing learning experience led by two exceptional speakers: 🎙 Saqlain Abid 🎙 Nouman Munib The session kicked off with Sir Nouman Munib, who provided a detailed overview of the competition. He covered important aspects such as: 📊 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠: Key to understanding how contestants will be evaluated. ✅ 𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚: Who can participate and the rules for entering. 💻 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬: Ensuring participants know which languages are acceptable. 🧮 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫: A breakdown of how submissions will be automatically graded. His insights were crucial in understanding the competition’s structure! Next, Saqlain Abid took over, diving into: 📢𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬: How to get help during the competition, including 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 that will be made throughout. 📑𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Including input/output formats and coding standards. 🏆𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: Exciting opportunities for participants to earn rewards! 📝𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Essential strategies and tools to help participants get ready and excel in the competition. The most exciting part was when Saqlain gave a 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 on how to apply as a team and introduced us to 𝐃𝐎𝐌𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞, the platform for contest management. I’m feeling more confident and excited to participate in the competition! And, of course, all the credit goes to the speakers Saqlain Abid and Sir Nouman Munib for their exceptional guidance and knowledge sharing! 𝐈𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤: https://lnkd.in/dStrX3VS A special thank you to Sir Zafar Shahid, PhD , Sir Rizwan Ghaffar, and the entire iCodeGuru team for providing us with this incredible platform! #UC_Berkeley #CodingCompetition #iCodeGuru #Calico #DOMjudge #Webinar #Programming #CodingEvents

🌟 Day 86/150 of the CP Challenge: Fair Numbers 🌟 Greetings coding enthusiasts! Today, on Day 86 of our coding journey, let's tackle the "Fair Numbers" problem! 🔍 Problem Link: https://lnkd.in/gjcWS39N Approach: 1️⃣ We need to find the minimum fair number greater than or equal to 𝑛. 2️⃣ To do this, we iterate starting from 𝑛 and check if each number is fair or not. 3️⃣ We can define a function to check if a number is fair by iterating over its digits and verifying if each non-zero digit divides the number. 4️⃣ If the current number is fair, we print it and break the loop. Feel free to share your thoughts and alternative approaches! Let's continue our coding journey together! 💻🚀 #CPJourney #Day86of150 #CodingCommunity #learningtogether

And my software engineering adventure begins at 42 The Network 🚀 This was La Piscine, the heart of its selection process: 135 ppl, coding 24/7 for one-of-a-kind month at the Amsterdam campus: Codam College. Among the pisciners, there were musicians, university professors, philosophers, therapists, start-up founders, DJs, linguists, ppl with no previous education and ninja programmers. This is, I believe, the strength of Codam: our diverse community. A community is where our work is reflected and refracted, shimmering with mutual meaning. Because we bring to creative problem solving the whole of what we are, different perspectives force us to engage in a rigorous decision-making process. Along with the widespread obsession with the Hitchhiker’s Guide to Galaxy (yep, it was the literary reference for me 🥹), each 42 school shares these core values: social inclusion, equal chances, and innovation. And by this I mean: no tuition-fees, no teachers, campuses open 24/7, flexible pacing, and project-based peer-to-peer learning. This is why I can’t wait to start the curriculum this October! #42piscine #born2code #42network
