I've been talking to Adam Peruta and several other professors about how to use generative AI for ethical content creation and workflows. Adam is an upcoming leader in this topic. I use AI as a higher-order thinking copilot and as a director-level writing assistant. However, it's difficult to distinguish between "AI writing content" (useless terminology) and my originality when used like this. I see comments from editors, writers and creators using tools to identify if the content was written by AI, but this is virtually a useless endeavor with creation from higher-order thinking. I'm sure you've seen people say, "That was written with AI, so it's not legitimate," or something like that. Well, this is not a good way to assess originality.
