We all have witnessed DeepTech evolve over the past few years, and it is now a driving force of change in India’s technological landscape. DeepTech not only transforms the way industries operate but also has the potential to make India a global hub for cutting-edge technologies. Out of the total entities registered as startups in India, only 10% of them are DeepTech startups as per data from February 2023. This calls for enhanced collaboration between industry, academia, and Government to boost the DeepTech startup ecosystem in India. And I am extremely delighted that our country has embarked on this journey today. As we celebrate National Startup Day today, the Government’s ‘Startup India’ programme has entered into a new phase with a special focus on the DeepTech sector. This will pave the way for groundbreaking innovations and also give a boost to the DeepTech startup ecosystem. Hello Minnesota startup & technology community! We’ve made a few important clarifications to some Twin Cities Startup Week terms. Here’s the scoop 🍨. Clarifications on event types: TCSW Sessions (Monday, September 16 – Thursday, September 19): TCSW Sessions—both educational and social—carry a submission fee of $199.00 when scheduled on a TCSW weekday. A discounted fee may be applied at the discretion of the event organizers (so please contact us if this is a barrier to you participating in TCSW). TCSW Weekend Sessions (Saturday, September 14 – Sunday, September 15): All weekend sessions—both educational and social—are free to submit and schedule. There is no submission fee. Both TCSW Session and TCSW Weekend Sessions need to be approved by the TCSW Team.
