Today we held a very productive online consortium meeting for the SuCoLo project, where partners shared their progress from the past six months. It was great to meet and hear all the updates! 💻🤝🚵 A special thank you to the advisory members who took the time out of their day to participate and provide valuable guidance. The SuCoLo project explores the alignment of needs, opportunities and  interactions of freight bicycle delivery actors, citizens and digital service providers to develop behaviour change techniques to nudge online consumers to choose net-zero methods of delivery and pick-up of goods in urban outskirts. Using living lab methods and involving an advisory board, we will collaboratively design and test novel concepts in Salzburg, Leipzig, and Merano, aiming to promote sustainable, neighbourhood-centered and inclusive goods delivery and pick-up in urban fringe areas. Our project partners are Salzburg Research, STA - Südtiroler Transportstrukturen AG, VIABIRDS Technologies, Sustainability InnoCenter, Logistics Living Lab and Cooperativa sociale independent L. "Raise your hand if you think someone should do something" I participated in the DREAM Lahti #startup pitching event by StartHub Lahti and Finnish Business Angels Network (FiBAN) last Friday. My pitch started like this: "According to the Stockholm Resilience Center, 6 out of 9 planetary boundaries for human existence have already been crossed. Raise your hand if you think Someone should do something?" I'm pretty sure all the 150+ people in the audience raised their hand My follow-up was "Raise your hand again if you think businesses are in the driver's seat" ...and after a split second of hesitation, 90% of people raised their hand again. After that I went on to explaining how #LCA helps businesses get the needed know-how to design environmentally sustainable product and business models, get some of the data they need to be compliant, and back up their Green Claims, plus a lot of other stuff that one needs to cover in a pitch.
