Looking back on our journey to the Franz Edelman Award finals, I am reminded of the numerous hours of dedication all team members poured into our attendance in Orlando, Fla. Each step was a testament to our unwavering commitment to driving positive change through innovation and collaboration. Our presence alongside team members from Transvision B.V., CQM, Universiteit Utrecht, and Geodan (part of Sogelink Group) among industry luminaries like American Airlines, Aldi Süd, McDonald’s China, Molslinjen, and Tata Steel reaffirms our collective commitment to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in transforming Operational Research into Operational Excellence. Though we didn't win the top prize, being finalists felt like a significant victory. It was exciting to navigate through the rigorous selection process and receive this ultimate recognition on the global stage. I am truly proud of our team's presence. Special thanks to Sabrina Schoenmaker, Peter Hulsen, Frans de Ruiter, Johan van Rooij and coach Erick Wikum for their invaluable contributions. As the curtains are drawn to a close on the unforgettable Franz Edelman Award Finals 2024, the flame of innovation and excellence burns brighter than ever before.
