Coeo Media is getting ready to enter its third year of operation, a fact that deeply humbles and frankly astounds me: given all that I’ve learned running this business and the number of amazing people, companies, organizations, and communities with whom I’ve been asked to work, three years doesn’t seem like nearly long enough to contain it all. The beginning of a new year seemed like a good time to reinvigorate my online presence. The new and much improved coeomeansconnection.com is now live, and I’d love to hear what you think about it. What seemed like a simple enough job early on to refresh my website turned out to be an invitation of sorts, to reexamine what I’m doing with the firm and moreover, why I’m doing it. I hope the answers will be evident not in my words, but in the testimonials of others. The website features several of these — a representative sample of the many folks who have placed their trust in me over the last few years. There is also a more robust and detailed description of the firm’s services and an expanded list of earned media wins we’ve notched since starting in April 2021. It should goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway: Thank you to all of my clients, past and present. Each opportunity I’ve been given to help them find their voices and tell their stories is an honor. Special thanks also to Alex DeHart for the site’s clever and beautiful redesign, William Vest at Toldwell Studios for the very cool video elements, and Leanne Kleinmann for all of her hard work crafting the case studies. Gratitude always to Stacey and the pups for always reminding me what matters the most. As my friends have heard me say many times, I never identified as a “founder” or even as an entrepreneur. I started Coeo in the immediate aftermath of a global pandemic and a season of unprecedented social and political unrest because it was evident we were in an era of immense change. Media and political landscapes are changing rapidly and city-builders everywhere need new kinds of communications support and strategic guidance to be successful. As the world continues to evolve, my business will as well, and I’m so excited for what’s to come. Here’s to the next three years and beyond. Happy New Year. - Kerry Hayes

Wow, Kerry, great new website! This distills, clearly and quickly, what makes you so effective and unique in serving your clients. Hope it brings you loads of new business. And congratulations on three years, too. No one knows better than I do what a terrific accomplishment that is.
