"A medical equipment planner is someone who helps identify the technological needs of an organization and effectively integrates the necessary technology tools into the environment of care. A planner works with the clinical team to understand what equipment they need, how they work around the equipment, and how any new equipment must interweave with their processes and procedures to appropriately optimize the space. They then specify any new equipment, facilitate or assist in the purchasing process, and ensure all equipment is delivered and installed properly." #HealthcareFacilities #Healthcare #HospitalDesign #MedicalPlanning #BiomedicalEngineering #MedicalEquipmentPlannning

Whether you are going for routine services, emergency care, etc, going to a healthcare clinic looks a bit different these days. The design of this campus focuses on connection and patient choice while highlighting the local community, flora, and fauna. Being a patient that deals with chronic health issues that frequents doctors, I would not hate to go to seek medical care if my facilities looked like this. What a beautiful facility.. I think I would seek out the fireplace. 🔥 Also, experiencing this campus, you would never guess that it is an off-site modular build! Not to mention, it is the largest healthcare facility, using this method, in North America to date. Wonderful work, team! #nacarchitecture
Arranged along the length of the Clinic Waiting Concourse, the second and third floors of Athens Medical Campus feature the Cozy Cabins, which celebrate the connection to the natural environment surrounding Athens. Each offering a unique setting, these spaces provide visitors an intimate spot to wait while experiencing local art, framed views to nature, and a warm fireplace, all from a cozy chair. This project, designed with our partners at MIND and Molen Design, is the largest off-site volumetric constructed healthcare facility in the nation and serves the community with a variety of vital services, including Emergency, Diagnostics, and Clinical services.
