Intermittent Fasting by Age: A Comprehensive Guide Intermittent fasting (IF) can be effective for weight management and overall health, but age plays a key role in how it impacts the body. Younger individuals may benefit from more flexible fasting schedules due to higher metabolic rates and energy needs. In middle age, IF can help regulate hormonal shifts and prevent weight gain, while older adults need to prioritize muscle retention and nutrient intake, favoring gentler fasting patterns. Consulting a healthcare professional ensures the right approach for each age group, focusing on safety and individual health goals. Age-specific considerations optimize IF’s benefits for long-term well-being. #intermittent #fasting #by #a #comprehensive #guide #intermittentfasting #love #fitness #mentor #keto #newyork #la #app #chicago #age: #omad #ketotransformation #photography #instagood #psychologist #leader #ketosis #usa #pharmacy #downtownnola #lead #carnivore #ketogenic #the https://lnkd.in/gu7pKs3S

You have probably heard the phrase that you are what you eat. With recent studies establishing the gut-mind connection, the importance of healthy eating is becoming more apparent. Evidence shows that following the Mediterranean-DASH Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay or MIND diet produced a small but significant decrease in the risk of developing thinking, concentration and memory problems. A study published in Neurology, the journal of the American Academy of Neurology, found that people who followed the MIND diet more closely were 4% less likely to develop memory and thinking problems than those who did not adhere to the diet. The benefits of the MIND diet may have a differential impact in women and Blacks and this is an area for future research. This study of association does not, by itself, prove that the MIND diet protects cognitive health, but given the clear mechanisms in play, it certainly suggests it does. So next time you are in the kitchen, be sure to incorporate these 10 brain-healthy food groups, including green leafy vegetables, other vegetables, nuts, berries, beans, whole grains, seafood, poultry, olive oil and wine. #healthyeating #MIND #MINDDiet #MediterraneanDiet #DASH #brainhealthy #ClinicalResearch #Alzheimers #Dementia #SupportAlzheimer #EndAlz #WorldAlzheimerMonth
