CogSim Technologies Product Spotlight - Day 5: Training & Simulation Platforms While our previous product spotlights focused on our Tactical Data Link simulation technology, we'd like to highlight that we are a systems integrator that develops and maintains numerous training & simulation platforms. As a matter of fact, our TDL simulation technology was initially developed as part of the fulfillment of TDL interoperability requirements for our training & simulation platforms. Supporting all of our simulation systems is our RPX Simulation Framework. The RPX Simulation Framework provides real-time data distribution services, including publish/subscribe and a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), simulation executive, application management, performance monitoring and tuning, and all of the essential services and functionality necessary to create real-time, distributed and interoperable training & simulation systems for air, land, and maritime domains. Some highlights include: - Plugin framework - Environment server - Navigation server - Mission function server - Instructor/Operator Station (IOS) - After-Action Review (AAR) system Our RPX Mission Support Simulator (MSS) provides a fighter platform role-playing system capable of providing a blue or red air presence to distributed simulation exercises. The RPX MSS can be configured with a range of flight dynamics, sensors, and weapons models representative of 4th and 5th-generation fighter capabilities. The RPX MSS can be packaged as a desktop system, a "flying chair," or an immersive cockpit with various out-the-window visualization options. Our RPX Unmanned Aerial System (UAS)/Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) simulation system provides a reconfigurable training & simulation platform for drone operations. Air Vehicle Operator (AVO), Mission Payload Operator (MPO), and other stations can be configured with multiple layouts and user interface options. The host vehicle may use various flight dynamics, sensors, and weapons models. We simulate uplink/downlink delays, NATO STANAG 4586 as an interface option, and produce KLV-enabled streaming video per NATO STANAG 4609. These systems include support for Tactical Data Links, of course! Many of our systems also make extensive use of MAK Technologies products. We apply our corporate ethos of "focused fidelity" in the development of our training & simulation systems. We ensure that we're integrating "best of breed" technologies, offering cost-effective, "right-sized" solutions that are tightly aligned with the needs of our customers. Sound interesting? Please reach out to Murray Gamble or Scott Arbuthnot to set up a meeting or stop by the MAK Technologies booth (1420) to chat. #iitsec #iitsec2023 #simulationtechnology #tdl #militarytraining #lvc
