'How do we get the next ten years right?' An important question given the speed with which tech is being developed and deployed to the masses. This was also the theme of last week's CogX AI Festival in LA which fortunately coincided with the annual Milken Institute conference. Excited to have been an ambassador to this inaugural gathering of leaders working at the intersection of AI, technology, society, media and culture. As a moderator and curator of people and ideas, and someone who thinks in and for the 'long-term', I found like-minded people, genuinely excited to learn from one another and collaborate. The confluence of voices made for rich dialogue and for many serendipitous encounters. And how often can you say you met an astronaut and and entrepreneur working on de-extinction both in the same day? Great job Charlie Muirhead and team. And special thanks to Mike Butcher for connecting Charlie and I back in 2017 when DIALOGUE first started curating think tanks to discuss the meaning of #AI in the #futureofwork. Looking forward to the next one. #CogX2024 #FutureTech
