So where are they? Where are all these great real estate deals that everyone is talking about at 30-40% discounts? We're 1/6th of the way through 2024, and from my perspective, the deal flow has decreased, not increased. In 2024, I have personally looked at over 100 deals, and put offers on 2. Neither of those deals were close to 30-40% discount levels, and neither deal was completed. Additionally, I have seen fewer deals in 2024 than last year from those I follow on LI. Many have said the margins are too thin. That doesn't signal a market that is in large scale retreat. What has been your experience with deal flow in 2024? #realestate #investing #wealthcreation

1moRichard Hill , as the loan survey is a quarterly figure (i.e. marginal) shouldn't it be viewed as "another 30% of lenders" are tightening in addition to the tightening of lending standards that has already taken place in previous quarters, i.e. meaningful tightening of lending standards continues?
