Coinbase Cloud has a long history of supporting client diversity within the Ethereum network. Today, we’re pleased to announce we’ve begun rolling out support for the Nethermind execution client within our Ethereum staking nodes. In the coming months, we also plan to add support for the Erigon execution client. This infrastructure update brings execution client diversity to Coinbase Cloud, and further improves the security of staked assets and the underlying blockchain.
