Today marks a significant milestone for Coinme, the leading cryptocurrency cash exchange in the U.S. 🎂🎉 Ten years ago, Coinme launched the first licensed Bitcoin ATM in the U.S., and since then, we’ve been on an incredible journey. As someone who has been part of this journey for three years and counting, I’m thrilled to share our story. As we celebrate this milestone 🎊 , I’m more convinced than ever that blockchain technologies and cryptocurrencies are reshaping the financial landscape. Innovations in decentralized finance (DeFi) to non-fungible tokens (NFTs) will redefine how we interact with money.
Coinme’s resilience, commitment to regulatory compliance, and user-friendly approach have made it a trailblazer in the crypto world. As we look ahead, I’m excited about the next decade and the positive impact we’ll continue to make.
Today, Coinme celebrates its 10th anniversary along with some major milestones.
Since inception in 2014, Coinme has exceeded over $1 Billion in retail sales and averaged 164% growth year over year.
From just a few early Bitcoin ATMs, to now over 40,000 retail locations, we can't wait to see what the next 10 years will bring!

1moThis “company” is either ran by completely under qualified and incompetent individuals or they are deliberately and purposefully taking money from customers and not providing the customer with the service agreed on. With any other business if you are not able to provide the service you are claiming by no fault of the customer then they communicate the issues with the customer and refund their money immediately but Coinme does it completely different that is shady and illegal. First of all they don’t even have a customer service department, they have a bot that does nothing for you and you’re directed somewhere else to fill out a form. There’s absolutely NO WAY to reach a live person which is unbelievable in itself. After you fill out some form you do not get a response for at least a week if not more. The response will be very brief and you’ll have to email back. Again you’ll have to wait a week or 2 for a basic response with no resolution so they just do this to keep stalling. I deposited funds in February and 70+ emails later and still waiting 4 months later. The CEO Neil Bergquist has to know that he has no customer service at this “operation” that is either outright scamming or at minimum using customer deposits to operate
