With such a vast market of options, navigating the landscape can be challenging both in terms of what tests to order and how to interpret results. Most of these options are collected via dry blood spot, which may have issues with reliability. The Glooko® platform incorporates a clinic-based transmitter that allows the download of glucose data from most glucometers and real-time Continuous Glucose Monitoring (rtCGM) systems (such as Dexcom ONE, Dexcom G6 and Dexcom G7) to be viewed in one location, in an accessible visual format. The Diabetes Community Adult Specialist Nursing Service run by Solent NHS Trust undertook a pilot project to evaluate Glooko® and the outcomes it can deliver to the NHS. The pilot investigated the content and output of Community Diabetes Specialist Team consultations both before and following the transition to Glooko®. The benefits of performing the pilot project included: ✅ Providing data on one system to be viewed by both the patient and healthcare professional. ✅ Time saved in analysis and interpretation of clinical trends and patterns (50% less time spent on this compared with baseline). ✅ Time gained to have meaningful discussions around medication reviews, behaviour, diet, exercise, and motivation, supporting improved patient outcomes (5x more time spent on medication review compared with baseline, while a third of each appointment is dedicated to motivational discussion, compared with zero time before the intervention). ✅ Funding now approved on an ongoing basis. 📰 THE AUSTRALIAN   This week, Adherium’s CEO Dr Paul Mastoridis spoke with journalist Eddy Sunarto for a deep dive into the growing healthcare issue of asthma and why Adherium’s Hailie SmartInhaler technology is one of the most technically advanced digital solutions on the market.    Paul highlighted the Company’s strategic focus on the US market, where Adherium is collaborating with healthcare clinics and hospitals to show how their technology can prevent readmissions, hospitalisations, and ER visits for patients living with respiratory disease     Here’s an excerpt:    “In total, we have 12 FDA approved devices.
