One can't expect broken systems to fix themselves. It would be naive to expect the crooked politicians that benefit from corruption to have any interest in fixing the system. The only logical approach is for American citizens from both the Left and the Right to come together to bring forward a ballot initiative that would impose fair rules on Washington. Together we can achieve a fair system where lobbyists are criminalised.
