I love this clip from the absolute powerhouse Emma Grede on Women’s Hour. 3️⃣ She talks about how if you are going outside the norm to push yourself and achieve something then to think about things in thirds. 🧐 One third of the time you will be happy, another third of the time you are going to feel ok and the last third of the time you are going to feel pretty bad. 😔 And its ok to feel bad sometimes. 💡To wake up every day and feel fantastic is an unrealistic expectation and not one we should be putting on ourselves - it is setting us up for failure. 💪 Sitting in discomfort is hard as humans but I think it’s a skill that is so important to master to help us build resilience. ⚖️ Being comfortable being uncomfortable is something I try and embrace in my daily life and love how Emma echoes this below! #womeninbusiness #leadership #leadershiplessons #iwd2024
