Why do people procrastinate to pull together their life plan, to be ready for unplanned life transitions? I don't know the answer but it is my mission to improve this situation. On the other hand, it is refreshing to see cancer patient that are going through life-changing events totally engaged in pulling their plans together, seeking to learn how to put a complete plan in place. At every quarterly workshop at the Ottawa Cancer Hub, I am amazed of the open conversations, positive attitude of these people that are going through difficult life events and transitions. Very pleasant and gratifying. Looking forward to the next one. #lifeplanning #estateplanning #advocacyInAging #OttawaCancerHub #OttawaCancerFoundation #lifetransitions #unplannedlifetransitions #cancersurvivor #advancecareplanning #healthcaredirectives

Making the business case for cancer programs to create #survivorship and #supportive care programs is not that straight forward but very important. Understanding the ROI argument needs to have an expert involved and the Cancer Survivorship Provider Network if very fortunate to have professionals like Patricia Falconer, MBA working on these very questions. Our recent Coffee Talk explored this very question and it generated deep conversation around the topic. Patty has graciously allowed us to share her slides. We would love to hear your thoughts on the topic and join the CSPN so that you can be at the table for these important conversations. www.thecspn.org
