Today, on #EarthDay, we are reflecting on our sustainability journey. ♻️ Driven by a zero-to-waste landfill commitment, we’re incredibly proud that in one year alone, we saved 98.1% of CO2e by recycling materials and avoiding landfill. Our demolition and enabling team is relentless in helping to reduce the carbon footprint of our client's demolition projects. We do this by recycling construction and demolition waste, using newer and more efficient plant and fleet to lower emissions, and harnessing the best technology to spot and realise opportunities to make carbon savings and minimise environmental impact. Today and everyday we’re committed to achieving zero harm. #CollardCares #RecycledAggregates #SustainableDemolition

It's #WorldPopulationDay! 🧑🤝🧑 Did you know, it's estimated that by 2050, two-thirds of the world's population is expected to live in cities and the global population will be close to 10 billion people! As numbers increase, so does the strain on natural resources, in particular sand & aggregates, and that is why it's so important that we embrace the circular economy to preserve these natural resources. Every day, we're working with customers across the globe who are embracing the circular economy and leading the way to a more sustainable future. Our waste recycling solutions are helping to divert almost 30m tons of waste from landfill every year, producing in-spec sand and aggregates in the process for re-use in the global construction market. This is enough material to build 150,000 new homes every year! 🏡 Working together, we can create our best world, a ton at a time! fastest method of existing Road rehabilitation
Flashback Monday, Cold In-Place Recycling (CIR) project in Yellowstone National Park. 100% re-use of National Park Service's asphalt pavement assets all in-place. Low cost, very high production, reduced impact to the public and a reduction in construction trucks coming and going to project by 40:1. Reductions is greenhouse emissions by to 75% when compared to older remove, dispose and replace construction. #Pavementwise, #Pavementrecyclingsystems, #sustainability, #asphaltrecycling

A little too close to home 🌎 Over 15% of U.S Landfills are expected to close their entrances over the next 5 years due to running out of disposal space. As they start to close, we need to rethink our #WasteManagement strategies. We could promote actions similar to recycling and composting, even waste reduction from the start. However, that would require a collective effort that some aren’t ready to change their lifestyles for. However, we can lean into innovative technologies 💡🌱 C6-Zero has uncovered a new way of thinking for landfill clean ups all based in remanufacturing. We just launched our new website with all the details www.C6-Zero.com 💻

Ms Atasi Das, Very apt question. In India's endeavor to meet decarbonisation/net Zero commitments, CIPR, CCPR or similar options will have to be implemented either by will or by legislation. Both are proven technologies across the world. In India we will have to focus on right kind of train of equipments & their operations. Beside, we have to expedite our efforts to develop right kind of Emulsion formulations, their production, storage, handling & usages. Of course, we will succeed.🇮🇳

Building a waste-free society with #circularity is a collective effort involving our partners, customers and regulators to implement #circulareconomy principles effectively. Shifting incentives to favour recycling over disposal is key; prioritising products that align with circular economy principles and banning landfilling of recyclable products are crucial steps. Ambitious countries like #Germany and #Austria have already acted, banning landfilling of recyclable construction materials starting from January 2024 and 2027, respectively. Let's follow their lead in responsible waste management. Ask yourself this: why waste recyclable materials when they can be used again to make new products? ♻️ Interested in circularity? Leave a thumbs up and stay tuned to our #EmbracingCircularity updates in the coming weeks! 👋🏽 #ROCKWOOL
