I'll never stop banging on about this because we spend so much time comparing ourselves to creators with millions of followers and millions of views. By and large, these are entertainers just like people on TV, radio or the movies. I'm guessing that you probably are not. Your business model isn't based around monetising ad revenue through YouTube, TikTok or Instagram. So your appeal doesn't need to be to the masses. It needs to be geared towards getting you that one, two or five new clients that need what you do in the way that you do it. Focus in on what's helpful for them. Your expertise in confident text is for more helpful than an awkward, insecure and clunky video. You can deliver great value today in text. You can learn video tomorrow.
